Horizon: Blinded (2/5)

The convenience that radiates and the comfort that is spoken of may one day be a true reality. Though opportunity lie on and beyond the horizon, it's in the idea of opportunity to which we are blinded. I have yet to see whether the blinding light is of good or of greed for I am scared to open my eyes. Maybe fearful that I might too lose sight. As for now, I am comfortable being blind, treating this moment as a mere blink in existence while ignoring the glimpses of our obsolesces that warn it might be our last or our beginning.
